I should have assumed that it was just a physical relationship... but I was just playing with fire... it was just a one-time mistake... The three promises the two made were: (1) not to pry into each other's lives; (2) to only meet once a month; and (3) to never get serious. However, the two of them pretend not to notice the feelings that have arisen one day: "I want to see you..." and "I want to meet you..." and only desire each other's bodies. Realizing that they can no longer keep their promise, the two immerse themselves in passionate sex one last time... just before parting ways.
