Ai is a grieving widow who lost her husband Makoto in a traffic accident. After her funeral, her father, Toru, forces her to make a difficult decision. She says that now that she doesn't have any children, she has no reason to let Ai live with the Ozawa family. Toru looks at Ai, who is flustered, and makes a suggestion.
